JJP Contractors recognises that modern slavery is a complex burden on our global society, and through the development and delivery of the anti-slavery policy, are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking within our company and protecting the workforce and reputation of the company to enhance the reputation of the business.

The policy is in accordance with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applies to all persons working for JJP Contractors or upon our behalf in any capacity at all levels. This includes direct employees, self employed, agency operatives, contractors and suppliers.

Our anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment to act ethically, with integrity within all of our business relationships, implementing the control measures and systems that are in place to ensure slavery is not taking place.

To implement this policy JJP Contractors will:

  • Comply with the modern slavery act 2015.
  • Have a zero-tolerance culture to modern slavery within the business and expect compliance from our supply chain and contractors to apply this approach and code of conduct.
  • Encourage the reporting of concerns and the protection of those persons reporting the concerns.
  • Where required we will provide training and instruction to our staff and employees on the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains, highlighting the potential problems.
  • Audit the supply chain and labour provider (agencies) to ensure their policies aligns with our expectations.
  • Where possible, ensure operatives do not engage, facilitate or fail to report any activity that may lead to a breach of the anti-slavery policy.

Any employee who breaches the policy will be subject to disciplinary action, of which may result in dismissal for misconduct.

We reserve the right to terminate any relationship with supply chains, contractors or other individuals working on our behalf if they breach any section of the policy.

The directors will review the anti-slavery policy at regular intervals, at least annually. We will provide information and (if required) training in relation to any changes made to the policy.
