JJP Contractors take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption of all practices. JJP are committed to conducting its business in a fair and ethical way, without using bribes or corrupt manners to obtain unfair advantages in our business dealings.
JJP will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in all the sectors we operate within. We are bound by the law of the UK and the Bribery Act 2010. JJP is committed to ensuring that it and all employees, and all third parties performing services on behalf of JJP abide by the highest ethical standards.
This policy and related procedures set out JJPs commitment that we and all our employees will adhere strictly to all relevant legislation in relation to bribery and corruption and follow any procedures implemented by the business to prevent bribery. Employees will not offer, promise or give bribes and in return they will not request or receive bribes.
JJP directors considers compliance with anti-bribery and corruption laws to not only be a legal requirement, but a reflection of the company’s strong business ethics. JJP are committed to this policy and it will be communicated to all JJP employees and third parties working on our behalf. Any breach of this policy will be regarded as a serious matter and may result in disciplinary action, dismissal or termination of contract.
This policy, in addition to setting basic guidance and procedures, will provide employees and third parties working on our behalf, with the basic knowledge needed to detect and prevent bribery and corruption issues guidance on where to seek advice.
This policy is not a comprehensive guide to anti-bribery and corruption compliance. It is intended to assist the recognition of potential issues, to give a guidance on acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and where to seek further information. It is structured to provide the employee with the relevant rules on what you can and cannot do, guidance to help interpret the rules and apply them effectively within the business dealings.
Where required this policy will be supplemented with anti-bribery and corruption training, of which will put bribery and corruption risks in the context of working for JJP. WE will be direct, honest, transparent and fair in all our business dealings.
The operation and compliance of this policy will be monitored by Jonpaul O’Donnell and Michael Galligan and will be reviewed on an annual basis as a minimum and updated as either legislation or practices change.
